So you want to rip your PS3 games huh?  No, it’s not illegal just as long as you own the PS3 game your going to copy.  There has been several different ways to rip and burn your PS3 games but some are better than others.  There is a way of installing Linux on your PS3 and ripping discs that way, but this method can be tedious since a lot of people wouldn’t even know how to get Linux on their system.  Also, the newest iteration of the PS3 the “PS3 Slim” will not let you install a new operating system on the hard drive.
